Going Back To Work

Hi all! I just want to let everyone know that I will be going back to work on May 12th. How time has flown by. Ok, ok, so some of it didn't go so fast, however Sydney's colic is much better and manageble. I will be working only 3 days a week. We think that is a nice balance. Daycare isn't available until Jun 2nd and we had to call in reinforcements. Whitney was flying out for a visit anyway and offered to keep her while I am at work. Then Grammy has the next week and then Auntie T (Tracie) has the next week. Sydney will have so much fun that she won't want to go to daycare! We will keep you posted with updates and pictures of course.

Update

Wow - Sydney sure is growing fast. She has reached the stage where she wants to sit up. She will work at it no matter where she is - from our lap to the car seat. She also seems to have found her feet and enjoys watching them. Yesterday while on the jungle gym, she watched herself in the mirrow. Sydney is also "talking" a lot. We are having a lot of fun with all of this. It makes all the hard days & nights worth it.

Church Meet-N-Greet

A meet-n-greet was at the church so that Sydney could be introduced to all the family friends. She did really well and was excited to meet so many great people!

Family Shower

A shower was given by the Trammell gang so that they all could meet Sydney. What a great time we all had! Sara enjoyed playing with the dog - sorry Bets! Lynn put Sydney to sleep and held her most of the shower. Lisa did a fabulous job at all the decorations. She made them all with napkins. What a great family this is!

Alabama Bound

We all flew out to Birmingham, Alabama on Friday April 4th to meet Katie's family and friends. Sydney did really well on the flight there (thank goodness). Brian flew back on Monday. There will be several posts to let you know about all the activities during the week.

Music Class

Mom & Syndey went to the New Mom's club this week which featured music. A lady came in to demonstrate her class and we got to participate. Sydney really enjoyed it - very alert! The second picture is of Sydney and her friend Jocelyn.
