Can you believe Sydney's hair goes up in pigtails!?!?!? Ok, so there is a little bit of hair in the back that falls out, but still.
Here is Sydney having her snack outside this morning waiting on a play date with Violet. Yummy Cheerios & raisins.

Friday
I finally had a day off from work and Sydney and I had a great day together. It started off with a little family time before Brian left for work. As Brian was putting on his socks, Sydney decided that she needed some of Daddy's socks also. She proceeded to his sock drawer and brought back socks to have Brian put on her. What a fashion statement!
A little hug before going to work.
Sydney and I played around the house all morning. She learned to climb up on the ottoman and we did that for awhile. We then went to have lunch with Brian. After her nap, we met up with Lauren and Sophia at the park. It was snack time, so we had it at the park watching all the other kids play. What a hot day today was!
Next up, Mrs. PotatoHead.
Then Sydney put on all our shoes. She actually walked around with one of my flip flops and then one of my tennis shoes. So cute!
Then for a short car ride up the street. As we were turning to come back down the street, Brian drove up. We raced down to the house. It was so cute - Sydney would rock back and forth like she was trying to get her car to go faster :-)
After dinner we had our family after dinner walk around our block.
And as we walked down our driveway, we saw a bunny in our yard. Sydney says "Hoppy or Hopping" when she sees a bunny. I think we have listened to "Hear comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping down the bunny trail...." too many times.

We went back outside for a short walk down the street. First she had to play with the rocks that she left on the chair...
Then some more rocks and a big piece of bark...

Phew, time for bed. Hope you had a great day also!
There were a couple of other cute video however were too big again. I need to continue to play with the settings so be able to share better.

Music at the Mall
Sydney and I met up with Lauren and Sophia at he mall for some live music. They do this every Thursday, however this was the first time that we attended. The girls had a picnic dinner and then we let them run around and dance to the tunes. They had such a good time. We are going to try and do it again next week.
2 Videos
Yipee - we finally got a new small camera. It can even take video in HD, however we found out the files are HUGE so we could not upload them on the blog. We wanted to share them, so I uploaded them on YouTube and posted the links below. Enjoy!

Truckee
Slowly, but surely, I finally got the last of the California pictures up. We left St. Helena and went to Truckee to visit Brian's uncle Bob, Aunt Kathy & cousins Allison & Spencer. We were there Friday afternoon and stayed through the 4th of July holiday then flew out Sunday morning.
Everyone had some afternoon fun the first day.
Saturday morning we went to the parade.
