Gran & Pop's Trip

Sydney had to put a washrag on her week old boo boo.

This is how she fell asleep. ZZZZZZZZZZ.......

At 6am one morning, the music table started playing by itself. Ghost? Nahhhhhh. Batteries dying. After watching me turn the table over, take of the cover and then change the batteries, Sydney thought she could do just as well. She started saying batteries after that.

We walked down to the basement to show the plumber something (he was moving the outside spicket away from the deck area) and Sydney found all the toys I retired. She had fun playing with her old toys.

Pops took apart the arch still halfway put together in our basement. Hmmmm, our wedding was how long ago :-) Sydney was a big help by taking the posts from Pops and putting them in the box - all by herself!

Tea Party with Gran. Sydney actually gets a cup, pours the "tea" and hands you the cup to drink (or drinks it herself). It is so stinking cute!!!

Seriously, who does my child take after putting things on her head?!?!?!?!

This was my chair when I was a child. Sydney loves to sit in it and rock. She goes up to it and says "rocking."

Gran bought Sydney some boots and she had to put them on and show them off.

Play time on the slide. I finally got the grand idea to put a box there so she could climb up herself. Makes it soooo much easier on your back. Not sure what I will put there when I need the diapers :-)

Sydney went and retrieved all the balls she threw in the plant area.

Time to teach Dad and Pops how to have a tea party.

I made the mistake and kissed Sydney's boo boo on her toe. She will kiss her toe all of a sudden now.

Picnic in the Garage

Tracie, Brian, Sydney and I were supposed to go to the park on Saturday for some play time and a picnic. Of course it had to rain that morning. So, we brought the park (ok a slide) and the picnic to the garage. It stopped raining and several of the neighborhood kids were out and stopped by. We all had a blast.

Another Day of Sydney Fun

Sydney cut a tooth last night - the first canine. Fun fun! :-)

We started the day off by going by my office for a visit. Sydney had so much fun visiting with Tricia and the gang and playing with the bubbles. We then stopped by Tracie's house for awhile. Sydney loves her "Aunt" Tracie. As we were about to get in the car to leave, Sydney decided to take a stroll down the street (sidewalk). As we were coming back, she kept sitting down and either "cleaning" the sidewalk with tissues or wiping her boo boo (a week old now). It was so cute! After we both took a much needed nap we met Lauren and Sophia at the mall. They have a great kids play area. The girls had a lot of fun.

After dinner, Sydney was being really cute dancing around. Then she had her hands in her overalls and was spinning around. Before we knew it, Sydney face planted on the kitchen floor. Needless to say it scared us a bit. She handled it really well and kept holding the cool washcloth on her swollen lip. Little kids are resilient. Another day, another tumble.

18 Month Check Up

We can't believe we took Sydney for her 18 month checkup. She did really good at the doctor's office. Of course, she didn't like the 2 shots given to her, however she was over it in less than a minute.

Monday Fun

After staying home most of yesterday, Sydney and I were ready to get out of the house. Who knew we would be busy most of the day.

Sydney the Ewok (sp???) She walked around like this last night but the camera wasn't where it needed to be. She looked so cute!

After playing indoors this morning, we went to the WOW museum. Those pictures can be seen on the post below.

After nap time, we went over to Sara, Grace & Violets house for some playtime, lemonade and some good girl time.

Sydney has picked up a crazy habit of putting underwear on her head. Can't imagine where she gets that from! Here she is with Violet's bathing suit.

While Brian was playing Volleyball, Nishia, Jordan and Sara came over for a playdate. What a fun filled day! Back to work tomorrow for me....
