Sydney's First Tricycle

Children's Museum

We took Sydney (along with the Bice's) to the Denver Children's Museum Sunday morning. It is too expensive in my taste since they make you pay for the adults when it is all for the kids, however, Sydney had a great time.

There are different themed rooms to explore. For example, here is the Under My Feet & Over My Head room:

School Spring Gala

Sydney had her first Spring Gala at "school." Her class dressed as ladybugs and were to sing 3 songs. The all looked so cute and they all sat still during the 3 songs, however none of them sang! Oh well. Tracie went with me and we still both enjoyed watching the kids.

Special snack time

Tracie came over afterwards and hung out with us. We walked up the street and Sydney had fun playing and smelling with the neighbor's flowers.

"I have an boo boo!" Really these are lint (sticky) sheets. She decided to run around the lower level about 20 times.

Fun at the Parks

Sydney and I went to the new Erie Park today. We only played in the first section before going home. Well, actually we found out Sophia was at the park by the house so we stopped by there on the way home.

We had a busy day - actually too busy. We went to the gym (where she played outside while I worked out), then to Monkey Bizness, home for a nap and then off again. We visited Tricia and the gang at work, and then to the 2 parks.

Brian & I waited too late to go on a good bike ride, so we took Sydney on our bikes to pick up some groceries. What a beautiful day. Sophia (& her mom) came over for dinner. Sophia got to try out the Go Bug with Sydney.

And they are off - up and down the street. Brian said all he could here from them was giggling. What girls!

Pizza

Sydney went with me to the store last night to pick up a Nick-N-Willy's pizza.

Katie - Sydney, what kind of pizza would you like?

Today

I just want thank my parents for bringing me into this world and giving me a great life. I never fully appreciated what I had as I grew up - until you look back and see just how good it was. And still is. I have great parents, sister, niece, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends (close as family) ........ I even met a wonderful man who made my life even better. And now we have a beautiful little girl. How could life be any better?

Trip to the Zoo

I was supposed to be a nice warm day today - well it was this afternoon but not so much this morning at the zoo. We had a great time anyway!

Mayor of Pieville

For the past couple of years my group at work has done a Mayor of Something contest. First, there was the Mayor of Donutville. Then came Mayor of Chilliville. I decided to enter this year for Mayor of Pieville and actually won!
