Bike Riding

Brian & I waited too late to go on a good bike ride, so we took Sydney on our bikes to pick up some groceries. What a beautiful day. Sophia (& her mom) came over for dinner. Sophia got to try out the Go Bug with Sydney.

And they are off - up and down the street. Brian said all he could here from them was giggling. What girls!

Sydney went with me to the store last night to pick up a Nick-N-Willy's pizza.

Today

I just want thank my parents for bringing me into this world and giving me a great life. I never fully appreciated what I had as I grew up - until you look back and see just how good it was. And still is. I have great parents, sister, niece, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends (close as family) ........ I even met a wonderful man who made my life even better. And now we have a beautiful little girl. How could life be any better?

Trip to the Zoo

I was supposed to be a nice warm day today - well it was this afternoon but not so much this morning at the zoo. We had a great time anyway!

Mayor of Pieville

For the past couple of years my group at work has done a Mayor of Something contest. First, there was the Mayor of Donutville. Then came Mayor of Chilliville. I decided to enter this year for Mayor of Pieville and actually won!

School Pictures

These are Sydney's first "school" pictures. Brian and I can't believe how good they turned out. Of course this was the morning she went to school with crazy hair and a sweatshirt. Luckily I took the time to run back home and get her another outfit and the teacher did her hair while I was gone. Whew! The class picture was taken the day after portraits [explains 2 outfits;-)]

See what a difference a year makes. Last year she did NOT want her picture taken - which is clearly why we didn't buy any pictures!

Outdoor Fun

It was windy on Sunday so Brian had the great idea of buying a kite. Not a great idea to tell Sydney we were going to the park, not the green(open) space, to fly the kite. The kite went right up, however Sydney didn't understand why there weren't slides and swings :-)

So, off we go to the park....

Little Things

I just got to do the potty dance! Sydney asked to go potty and she really did go! The little things that make Mommy and Daddy smile!

Sara Klein - our neighbor - had her 2nd birthday party yesterday. They had an Easter egg hunt, lunch and then cake. We had a great time!

Sydney's school had an Easter egg hung last Friday. They all had their bags and hunted away. It was really cute.
