Aunt Rhoda (mom's sister) had surgery this morning. Luckily Betsy's boss did the surgery and he and the nurse are taking special care of their patient. She is also lucky to be staying at Mom and Dad's house to be coddled over by her favorite sister! The surgery went well. She will be staying there for a couple of weeks since she can't drive for 6 weeks and would need to be back in Birmingham for the post op exam. Hmmmm, staying with her sister for 2 weeks doesn't sound bad at all!
