Day 2 in Alabama

Sydney started the day at the farm.

Sydney petting the pet wolf.

Sydney and Dolly.
There was a lot of Gran and Sydney time today.

Snack time for the girls. Yeah, yeah, that's me without makeup.

The girls had a lot of fun playing before we went to dinner.

We took the girls outside to play at the water table and it only took Sydney about 2 minutes at the water table before dumping water down her front :-)

They had a great time of the slide.
Dad and pulling socks up to your chin.
All freshened up for dinner. We went to the Mexican joint for Ormand's 60th birthday dinner. We had a great time celebrating!

The Look
"I know I am cute!"

Jenny wet her pants. No really, I was passing Sydney to her across the table and Sydney's food knocked over Jenny's marg.
Happy Birthday Ormand!!!

A little more playtime before bed waiting on Aunt RoRo to get into town.

Trip to Alabama

Sydney and I flew to Alabama last night. I figured if we flew at 7pm (Sydney's bedtime) that she would sleep most of the way to Alabama. Wrong! Oh well, we were due for a screaming child on an airplane at some point :-). The main thing is we made it safely and are having a great time. I am trying to post pics each night so that Brian can see Sydney's activities while we are gone.

"Hi Pops"

Playing with the barnyard. Notice that she lined up all the animals like she did at Grammy's house.

Sydney on Sara's beanbag.

Pops asked Sydney to walk outside on the patio this morning. Little did we know the adventures awaiting Sydney.....

Pops decided to let Sydney get her feet wet in the pool. Then she squatted and started the fun of getting wet.

On to the water table.

"Boy am I pooped!" I thought Sydney would take a long nap after going to bed so late last night and getting up at her regular time. Wrong again. It was still a good nap though.

Sydney and Gran

Chillin'

Who knows what Sydney is pointing to.

"Hold on Gran!"

Sydney had to take a power nap on the way to Memaw's house.

Awwwwwwwwwww!

Betsy and her 2 girls

Aren't they so cute together!

Of course we had to eat at the Irondale Cafe!

Two trains came by as were were heading to the car. This is the first train Sydney has seen.

"DOG!" Now let's pick it's nose :-)

Bath time! How much fun it is to take baths at the grandmother's houses - water markers at Grammy's and sticky letters/numbers at Gran's.

Time to read our nightly book and then off to bed. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Wow - what fun filled first day!
