Oh My Goodness!!!!

Sydney has done great potty training!

Day 1 Saturday - started training after swim class. She woke up at midnight to tell us she needed to go potty and went.

Day 2 Sunday - woke up with a dry diaper.

Day 3 Monday - woke up with a dry diaper. No accidents until 4:30 and that was only a tad bit in her panties and then she ran to the potty to actually go. Another drop later, but still ran to the potty.

Day 4 Tuesday - woke up with a dry diaper. This was her first day back to school so we knew there would be some adjustment time. She pooped in her panties so they put a diaper on her until after nap time. Seems she had another small accident so they put a diaper back on her. We went to the mall after I picked her up and she still had the diaper on. We went to the bathroom 4 times, yes 4 times, without even going. I think she was fascinated with the automatic flushing :-). I do have to say she still had a dry diaper on when we got home and she went right to the potty. She has not wanted to wear a diaper, however as seen above, we put one on her for sleeping times. Well, last night she was adiment that she wasn't going to wear a diaper to bed. Ackkk! Ok, let's do this. Let's give it a try since she has woken up with dry diapers.

Day 5 Wednesday - Great news - no accidents overnight and went to the potty when she got up!!!!

I am thinking our child is now potty trained. I know there will still be accidents and adjustment time at school, but WOW!
